The number of confirmed UK cases has hit 309K. However, the count of estimated cases has risen to 4,2M, which is much higher. The total number of people who have died from COVID-19 across Britain now stands at 47K. England is currently the country's coronavirus hotspot with 266K confirmed cases. The most affected regions of the UK are North West and South East.
