The number of confirmed UK cases has hit 3,7M. However, the count of estimated cases has risen to 8,8M, which is much higher. The total number of people who have died from COVID-19 across Britain now stands at 99K. England is currently the country's coronavirus hotspot with 3,2M confirmed cases. The most affected regions of the UK are North West and South East.
