Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in India, the virus has hit all 50 states. However, some regions have managed to keep the numbers low.
The population density in the county is 371 people per km2 so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the total count of coronavirus patients has increased up to 18K today, Fatehabad still has the lowest count of cases and deaths in the state of Haryana.
Gurgaon and Faridabad are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 181K and 100K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Mewat and Palwal have the lowest number of confirmed cases in Haryana. Together with the latter ones, Fatehabad’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
