COVID-19 has changed the U.S. and the whole world. Coronavirus keeps all people on alert in Grosse Tete and today, the virus still spreads across Iberville Parish. Its population density is considered to be 51 people per mi2 (20 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. As for the state, the Louisiana officials reported about 164K cases of COVID-19, an increase of 577 cases from yesterday.

Jefferson Parish and East Baton Rouge Parish counties are still the most-infected counties in the state.

These rates don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay home and take care of ourselves. You should not forget about protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
