The U.S. has the most confirmed cases of the new virus in the world. Coronavirus keeps all people on alert in Grosse Tete and today, the invisible enemy still spreads across Iberville Parish. Its population density is considered to be 51 people per mi2 (20 people per km2) so the risk of being infected is below average. As for the state, the Louisiana officials mentioned about 1,1M confirmed cases, an increase of 15K cases from yesterday.

Jefferson Parish and East Baton Rouge Parish counties are still the most-infected counties in the state.

These figures don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay inside and take care of ourselves. You should not forget about protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
