The U.S. government and health care system are implementing various efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, known as SARS-CoV-2. Coronavirus keeps all people on alert in Middletown and today, the invisible enemy still covers the territory of New Castle County. Its population density is informed to be 1,100 people per mi2 (420 people per km2) so the risk of being infected is below average. As for the state, the Delaware officials mentioned about 110K cases of COVID-19, an increase of 27 cases from yesterday.

New Castle County and Sussex County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These numbers don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay inside and take care of ourselves. You should not forget about protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
