The U.S. government and health care system are implementing various efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, known as SARS-CoV-2. COVID-19 keeps all people on alert in North Las Vegas and today, the virus still covers the territory of Clark County. Its population density is considered to be 240 people per mi2 (93 people per km2) so the risk of being infected is below average.
Clark County and Washoe County counties are still the most-infected counties in the state.
