The United States remains the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 pandemic keeps all people on alert in Providence and today, the virus still covers the territory of Providence County. Its population density is considered to be 1,400 people per mi2 (550 people per km2) so the risk of being infected is below average. As for the state, the Rhode Island officials announced about 150K confirmed cases, an increase of 62 cases from yesterday.

Providence County and Kent County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.
