The Rhode Island state is facing COVID-19 along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. As stated in the stats, about 127K COVID-19 positive cases have been reported as of today, and about 2,5K deaths. Figures have risen and reached 436 COVID-19 cases in a day.

In Rhode Island, the highest number of the population tested positive can be seen in Providence and Kent. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 1,006 people per mi2 (388 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. In next week, the general number of COVID-19 positive people in Rhode Island may rise to 131K cases. Still, the rate of infection is informed to be 12K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
