The U.S. health officials continue to monitor coronavirus cases in the country. As of today, New York is in the top 10 the U.S. states with the most cases. Nassau County is reported to have the highest number of coronavirus cases in this state - 40K. Suffolk County and Westchester County are in the second and third places accordingly.

It is predicted that in next week the total number of COVID-19 cases in Westchester County will reach 34K cases. Due to the high population density of 1,900 people per mi2 (760 people per km2) the risk of infection in this area is above average. The number of deaths in New York reached 30K people. Furthermore, the rate of infection in Westchester County is informed to be 3,4K per 100,000 people that is considered to be above average.
