Suffolk County is reported to have the highest number of confirmed cases in this state - 538K. Nassau County and Westchester County are in the second and third places accordingly.

It is considered that in next week the total number of COVID-19 positive people in Erie County will reach 260K cases. Due to the high population density of 881 people per mi2 (340 people per km2) the risk of infection in this area is above average. The number of fatalities in New York reached 74K people.
