The U.S. government and health care system are implementing various efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, known as SARS-CoV-2. COVID-19 pandemic keeps all people on alert in Sevierville and today, the invisible enemy still covers the territory of Sevier County. Its population density is informed to be 152 people per mi2 (59 people per km2) so the risk of being infected is below average.

Shelby County and Davidson County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These numbers don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay inside and take care of ourselves. You should not forget about protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
