The U.S. government and health care system are implementing various efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, known as SARS-CoV-2. Coronavirus keeps all people on alert in Shreveport and today, the invisible enemy still spreads across Caddo Parish. Its population density is informed to be 110/km2 (270/sq mi) so the risk of infection is below average. As for the state, the Louisiana officials noted about 1,2M confirmed cases, an increase of 7,3K cases from yesterday.

Jefferson Parish and East Baton Rouge Parish counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These figures don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our key thing is to stay inside and take care of ourselves. You should not forget about protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
