The Michigan state is fighting against COVID-19 along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the official data, nearly 889K COVID-19 positive cases have been reported as of today, and nearly 18K fatal cases. Figures have risen and reached 6,6K cases in a day.
In Michigan, the highest number of people affected by virus can be seen in Wayne and Oakland. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 174 people per mi2 (67 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. A week later, the general number of confirmed cases in Michigan will rise to 916K cases. By the way, the infection rate is informed to be 9K per 100,000 people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
