The South Carolina state is facing coronavirus along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the stats, nearly 617K confirmed cases have been reported as of today, along with nearly 9,9K fatal cases.

In South Carolina, the highest number of inhabitants affected by virus can be seen in Greenville and Richland. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 157 people per mi2 (60 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. A week later, the overall number of confirmed cases in South Carolina will reach 643K cases. By the way, the rate of infection is informed to be 12K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
