The South Carolina state is facing COVID-19 along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the stats, about 888K COVID-19 positive cases have been reported as of today, along with about 13K deaths. Figures have risen and reached 937 coronavirus cases in a day.

In South Carolina, the highest number of the population tested positive can be seen in Greenville and Richland. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 157 people per mi2 (60 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. In next week, the overall number of confirmed cases in South Carolina may reach 903K cases. Still, the rate of infection is informed to be 17K per 100,000 people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
