Since the first COVID-19 positive person was confirmed in India, the disease has hit all 50 states. However, some regions have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 171 people per km2 so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall count of confirmed cases has reached 7,1K today, Adilabad still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Telangana.

Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy are the state's leaders in coronavirus cases with 137K and 48K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Medak and Mahabubnagar have the lowest number of coronavirus cases in Telangana. Together with the latter ones, Adilabad’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your county has a low number of coronavirus cases, the virus is still active. Please stay vigilant and continue with good hygiene practices.
