Since the first coronavirus patient was confirmed in India, the infection has affected all 50 states. However, some regions have managed to keep the numbers low.
Even though the total count of COVID-19 positive people has risen up to 16K today, Mahabubnagar still has the lowest count of cases and fatal cases in the state of Telangana.
Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy are the state's leaders in coronavirus patients with 137K and 48K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Adilabad and Medak have the lowest number of coronavirus patients in Telangana. Together with the latter ones, Mahabubnagar’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
