Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in India, the disease has hit all 50 states. However, some regions have managed to keep the numbers low.
Even though the overall count of confirmed cases has risen up to 3,4K today, Chhota Udaipur still has the lowest count of cases and fatalities in the state of Gujarat.
Ahmedabad and Surat are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 238K and 144K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Dang and Porbandar have the lowest number of confirmed cases in Gujarat. Together with the latter ones, Chhota Udaipur’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
