The population density in the county is 167 people per km2 so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall number of COVID-19 positive people has risen up to 8,1K today, Surendranagar still has the lowest count of cases and deaths in the state of Gujarat.
Ahmedabad and Surat are the state's leaders in COVID-19 cases with 238K and 144K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Dang and Chhota Udaipur have the lowest number of COVID-19 cases in Gujarat.
