Since the first coronavirus case was confirmed in India, the disease has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have coped to keep the numbers low.
Even though the total count of COVID-19 positive people has risen up to 27K today, Jashpur still has the lowest count of cases and fatalities in the state of Chhattisgarh.
Raipur and Durg are the state's leaders in COVID-19 positive people with 158K and 97K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Kondagaon and Balrampur have the lowest number of COVID-19 positive people in Chhattisgarh. Together with the latter ones, Jashpur’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
