Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in India, the outbreak has affected all 50 states. However, some regions have coped to keep the numbers low.
Even though the total count of COVID-19 cases has reached 3,5K today, Kinnaur still has the lowest number of cases and fatalities in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
Kangra and Mandi are the state's leaders in COVID-19 positive people with 51K and 32K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Lahaul And Spiti and Kullu have the lowest count of COVID-19 positive people in Himachal Pradesh. Together with the latter ones, Kinnaur’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
