The number of confirmed cases of the new virus continues to grow in the the U.S. Coronavirus keeps all people on alert in Yemassee and today, the invisible enemy still covers the territory of Hampton County. Its population density is considered to be 37 people per mi2 (14 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average.

Greenville County and Richland County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These rates don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay home and take care of ourselves. You should be aware of protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
