The Indiana state is fighting against coronavirus along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the stats, about 1,7M confirmed cases have been reported as of today, along with about 23K fatal cases.
In Indiana, the highest number of inhabitants affected by virus can be seen in Marion and Lake. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 183 people per mi2 (70 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. Still, the rate of infection is informed to be 25K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
