On 30 January, India reported its first case of COVID-19 in Kerala. Maharashtra is now the worst-affected state with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases - 1339232. In this state, the death toll due to the highly contagious disease has reached 35571 since the pandemic’s outbreak as 35571 deaths got reported since yesterday.

Karnataka is one of the states with the highest rates, as of today, it is reported to have 576K positive cases, 462K people have recovered. It is considered that in a week the overall number of coronavirus patients in Karnataka will rise up to 666K cases.
