The U.S. government and health care system are implementing various efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, known as SARS-CoV-2. Coronavirus keeps all people on alert in Austin and today, the invisible enemy still covers the territory of Scott County. Its population density is informed to be 127 people per mi2 (49 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. As for the state, the Indiana officials noted about 1,6M cases of COVID-19, an increase of 5K cases from yesterday.

Marion County and Lake County counties are still the most-infected counties in the state.

These numbers don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay inside and take care of ourselves. You should be aware of protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
