Since the first coronavirus patient was confirmed in India, the outbreak has affected all 50 states. However, some regions have coped to keep the numbers low.
Even though the total number of COVID-19 positive people has reached 145 today, Bangalore Urban still has the lowest count of cases and deaths in the state of Karnataka.
Mysuru and Tumkur are the state's leaders in coronavirus patients with 179K and 121K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Haveri and Ramanagara have the lowest number of coronavirus patients in Karnataka. Together with the latter ones, Bangalore Urban’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
