Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in the U.S., the outbreak has affected all 50 states. However, some areas have coped to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 80 people per mi2 (30 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the total number of COVID-19 positive people has risen up to 9 today, Bell County still has the lowest count of cases and fatal cases in the state of Kentucky.

Jefferson County and Warren County are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 4K and 1,6K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Lee County and Robertson County have the lowest number of confirmed cases in Kentucky. Together with the latter ones, Bell County’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your county has a low number of COVID-19 positive people, the virus is still active. Please remain vigilant and continue with good hygiene practices.
