Since the first coronavirus patient was confirmed in India, the outbreak has affected all 50 states. However, some regions have coped to keep the numbers low.
Even though the total number of COVID-19 positive people has reached 5K today, Kaimur still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Bihar.
Patna and Gaya are the state's leaders in coronavirus patients with 147K and 34K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Sheohar and Banka have the lowest count of coronavirus patients in Bihar. Together with the latter ones, Kaimur’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
