Since the first coronavirus patient was confirmed in India, the infection has hit all 50 states. However, some regions have coped to keep the numbers low.
Even though the overall number of coronavirus cases has increased up to 5K today, Kaimur still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Bihar.
Patna and Gaya are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 147K and 34K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Sheohar and Banka have the lowest number of confirmed cases in Bihar. Together with the latter ones, Kaimur’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
