Since the first coronavirus case was confirmed in India, the infection has affected all 50 states. However, some regions have managed to keep the numbers low.
Even though the overall number of coronavirus cases has increased up to 9,4K today, Jamui still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Bihar.
Patna and Gaya are the state's leaders in COVID-19 cases with 147K and 34K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Sheohar and Kaimur have the lowest number of COVID-19 cases in Bihar. Together with the latter ones, Jamui’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
