Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in India, the virus has affected all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.
Even though the overall number of COVID-19 positive people has risen up to 10K today, Kishanganj still has the lowest count of cases and fatalities in the state of Bihar.
Patna and Gaya are the state's leaders in COVID-19 cases with 147K and 34K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Sheohar and Kaimur have the lowest count of COVID-19 cases in Bihar. Together with the latter ones, Kishanganj’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
