The U.S. government and health care system are implementing various efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, known as SARS-CoV-2. Coronavirus keeps all people on alert in Lawrenceburg and today, the invisible enemy still spreads across Dearborn County. Its population density is considered to be 164 people per mi2 (63 people per km2) so the risk of being infected is below average.

Marion County and Lake County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These numbers don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay home and take care of ourselves. You should be aware of protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
