Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in the U.S., the virus has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 23 people per mi2 (9 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall count of COVID-19 cases has increased up to 1,2K today, Little River County still has the lowest count of cases and fatal cases in the state of Arkansas.

Pulaski County and Washington County are the state's leaders in coronavirus cases with 39K and 31K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Calhoun County and Lafayette County have the lowest number of coronavirus cases in Arkansas. Together with the latter ones, Little River County’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your region has a low number of coronavirus patients, the virus is still active. Please stay vigilant and continue with good hygiene practices.
