Since the first coronavirus patient was confirmed in India, the virus has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.
Even though the overall count of coronavirus patients has risen up to 4,8K today, Sahibganj still has the lowest count of cases and fatal cases in the state of Jharkhand.
Ranchi and East Singhbhum are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 86K and 52K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Pakur and Dumka have the lowest number of confirmed cases in Jharkhand. Together with the latter ones, Sahibganj’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
