Since the first coronavirus case was confirmed in India, the infection has affected all 50 states. However, some regions have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 198 people per km2 so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall count of coronavirus patients has increased up to 9,5K today, Tonk still has the lowest number of cases and fatalities in the state of Rajasthan.

Jaipur and Jodhpur are the state's leaders in coronavirus cases with 188K and 112K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Pratapgarh and Karauli have the lowest number of coronavirus cases in Rajasthan. Together with the latter ones, Tonk’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your region has a low number of coronavirus cases, the virus is still active. Please stay vigilant and continue with good hygiene practices.
