Since the first COVID-19 positive person was confirmed in India, the disease has hit all 50 states. However, some regions have coped to keep the numbers low.
Even though the total count of coronavirus cases has increased up to 623 today, Zunheboto still has the lowest number of cases and fatal cases in the state of Nagaland.
Dimapur and Kohima are the state's leaders in coronavirus patients with 15K and 9,5K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Wokha and Phek have the lowest number of coronavirus patients in Nagaland. Together with the latter ones, Zunheboto’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
