The Kansas state is fighting against coronavirus along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the official data, nearly 16K COVID-19 positive cases have been informed as of today, along with nearly 283 deaths. Figures have increased by 49 cases in a day.

In Kansas, the highest number of people tested positive can be seen in Wyandotte and Johnson. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 34 people per mi2 (13 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. In a week, the overall number of confirmed cases in Kansas will rise to 18K cases. Besides, the rate of infection is informed to be 551 per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
