Since the first COVID-19 positive person was confirmed in the U.S., the disease has hit all 50 states. However, some regions have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 2 people per mi2 (1 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall count of confirmed cases has increased up to 56 today, Graham County still has the lowest number of cases and fatal cases in the state of Kansas.

Johnson County and Sedgwick County are the state's leaders in COVID-19 positive people with 14K and 12K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Elk County and Comanche County have the lowest number of COVID-19 positive people in Kansas. Together with the latter ones, Graham County’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your area has a low number of COVID-19 cases, the virus is still active. Please stay vigilant and continue with good hygiene practices.
