The Maryland state is facing COVID-19 along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the stats, nearly 387K COVID-19 positive cases have been reported as of today, and nearly 8K deaths. Figures have increased by 709 coronavirus cases in a day.

In Maryland, the highest number of people affected by virus can be seen in Prince George's and Montgomery. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 619 people per mi2 (238 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. In next week, the general number of confirmed cases in Maryland will reach 394K cases.
