The Maryland state is fighting against the coronavirus disease along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. As stated in the official information, about 944K confirmed cases have been reported as of today, and about 13K fatal cases. Figures have risen and reached 2,9K cases in a day.

In Maryland, the highest number of inhabitants tested positive can be seen in Prince George's and Montgomery. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 619 people per mi2 (238 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. In a week, the general number of COVID-19 cases in Maryland may rise to 952K cases. Still, the rate of infection is informed to be 16K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
