The Maryland state is fighting against the coronavirus disease along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. As stated in the official information, nearly 1,3M confirmed cases have been informed as of today, along with nearly 16K fatal cases. Figures have risen and reached 793 coronavirus cases in a day.

In Maryland, the highest number of inhabitants affected by virus can be seen in Montgomery and Prince George's. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 619 people per mi2 (238 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. In next week, the overall number of COVID-19 positive people in Maryland may rise to 1,3M cases. By the way, the infection rate is informed to be 21K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
