The Maryland state is facing the coronavirus disease along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the official information, nearly 198K COVID-19 positive cases have been informed as of today, and nearly 4,6K deaths. Figures have increased by 1,9K cases in a day.

In Maryland, the highest number of people affected by virus can be seen in Prince George's and Montgomery. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 619 people per mi2 (238 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. A week later, the general number of COVID-19 positive people in Maryland will rise to 207K cases.
