The North Carolina state is facing the coronavirus disease along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the official data, about 856K confirmed cases have been informed as of today, and about 11K fatal cases. Figures have risen and reached 2,9K coronavirus cases in a day.

In North Carolina, the highest number of people affected by virus can be seen in Mecklenburg and Wake. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 208 people per mi2 (80 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. A week later, the general number of coronavirus patients in North Carolina will reach 875K cases. By the way, the rate of infection is informed to be 8,2K per 100,000 people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
