The North Carolina state is facing coronavirus along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the stats, about 192K confirmed cases have been informed as of today, along with about 3,2K fatal cases. Figures have increased by 1,4K COVID-19 cases in a day.

In North Carolina, the highest number of inhabitants affected by virus can be seen in Mecklenburg and Wake. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 208 people per mi2 (80 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. In next week, the overall number of COVID-19 positive people in North Carolina may rise to 215K cases. Besides, the infection rate is informed to be 1,8K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
