On 30 January, India reported its first case of COVID-19 in Kerala. Maharashtra is now the worst-affected state with the most number of confirmed coronavirus cases - 200064. In this state, the death toll due to the highly contagious disease has reached 8671 since the pandemic’s outbreak as 8671 deaths got reported since yesterday.

Tamil Nadu is one of the states with the highest rates, as of today, it is informed to have 107K positive cases, 61K people have recovered. It is considered that a week later the overall number of coronavirus cases in Tamil Nadu will rise up to 137K cases.
