Since the first coronavirus patient was confirmed in the U.S., the infection has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have coped to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 2 people per mi2 (1 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the total count of COVID-19 positive people has risen up to 442 today, Adams County still has the lowest count of cases and fatalities in the state of Idaho.

Ada County and Canyon County are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 69K and 35K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Clark County and Camas County have the lowest count of confirmed cases in Idaho. Together with the latter ones, Adams County’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your area has a low number of COVID-19 positive people, the virus is still active. Please remain vigilant and keep up with good hygiene practices.
