Since the first COVID-19 positive person was confirmed in the U.S., the virus has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 3 people per mi2 (1 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the total count of coronavirus cases has risen up to 16 today, Clearwater County still has the lowest number of cases and fatal cases in the state of Idaho.

Ada County and Canyon County are the state's leaders in COVID-19 cases with 8,9K and 5,7K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Lewis County and Camas County have the lowest number of COVID-19 cases in Idaho. Together with the latter ones, Clearwater County’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your county has a low number of coronavirus patients, the virus is still active. Please stay vigilant and continue with good hygiene practices.
