Since the first coronavirus patient was confirmed in the U.S., the infection has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 3 people per mi2 (1 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall count of confirmed cases has reached 66 today, Boise County still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Idaho.

Ada County and Canyon County are the state's leaders in coronavirus cases with 12K and 7,9K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Lewis County and Camas County have the lowest number of coronavirus cases in Idaho. Together with the latter ones, Boise County’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your area has a low number of coronavirus cases, the virus is still active. Please remain vigilant and continue with good hygiene practices.
