Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in the U.S., the infection has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 3 people per mi2 (1 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall count of coronavirus cases has increased up to 5 today, Boise County still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Idaho.

Ada County and Canyon County are the state's leaders in COVID-19 cases with 2,8K and 1,3K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Camas County and Boundary County have the lowest count of COVID-19 cases in Idaho. Together with the latter ones, Boise County’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your area has a low number of coronavirus cases, the virus is still active. Please stay vigilant and keep up with good hygiene practices.
