Since the first coronavirus patient was confirmed in the U.S., the disease has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have coped to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 1 people per mi2 (0 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall number of coronavirus patients has reached 114 today, Camas County still has the lowest number of cases and fatalities in the state of Idaho.

Ada County and Canyon County are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 96K and 49K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Clark County and Butte County have the lowest number of confirmed cases in Idaho. Together with the latter ones, Camas County’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your region has a low number of confirmed cases, the virus is still active. Please remain vigilant and keep up with good hygiene practices.
