The U.S. has the most confirmed cases of the new virus in the world. COVID-19 pandemic keeps all people on alert in Española and today, the invisible enemy still spreads across Rio Arriba County. Its population density is considered to be 6 people per mi2 (2 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. As for the state, the New Mexico officials announced about 44K cases of COVID-19, an increase of 657 cases from yesterday.

Bernalillo County and Doña Ana County counties are still the most-infected counties in the state.

These rates don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our key thing is to stay home and take care of ourselves. You should be aware of protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
