Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in the U.S., the virus has affected all 50 states. However, some regions have coped to keep the numbers low.
The population density in the county is 37 people per mi2 (14 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall number of confirmed cases has increased up to 3,9K today, Noble County still has the lowest number of cases and fatalities in the state of Ohio.
Franklin County and Cuyahoga County are the state's leaders in COVID-19 cases with 367K and 351K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Vinton County and Morgan County have the lowest number of COVID-19 cases in Ohio. Together with the latter ones, Noble County’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
Please note, even if your area has a low number of COVID-19 positive people, the virus is still active. Please remain vigilant and keep up with good hygiene practices.
