The New Jersey state is facing the coronavirus disease along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. As stated in the official information, about 984K COVID-19 positive cases have been reported as of today, along with about 25K fatal cases. Figures have increased by 2,8K coronavirus cases in a day.

In New Jersey, the highest number of the population tested positive can be seen in Bergen and Essex. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 1,210 people per mi2 (467 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. In a week, the overall number of COVID-19 positive people in New Jersey may reach 1M cases. Besides, the rate of infection is informed to be 11K per 100,000 people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
