The New Jersey state is facing COVID-19 along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. As stated in the stats, about 2,4M COVID-19 positive cases have been informed as of today, along with about 34K fatal cases.

In New Jersey, the highest number of people affected by virus can be seen in Bergen and Essex. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 1,210 people per mi2 (467 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. Still, the infection rate is informed to be 27K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
