The New Jersey state is fighting against coronavirus along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the statistics, nearly 3M COVID-19 positive cases have been reported as of today, and nearly 36K fatal cases.
In New Jersey, the highest number of inhabitants affected by virus can be seen in Bergen and Essex. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 1,210 people per mi2 (467 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. By the way, the infection rate is informed to be 34K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
