Since the first COVID-19 positive person was confirmed in the U.S., the infection has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.
The population density in the county is 300 people per mi2 (120 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the total number of COVID-19 positive people has risen up to 26K today, Warren County still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of New Jersey.
Bergen County and Essex County are the state's leaders in coronavirus cases with 253K and 233K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Salem County and Cape May County have the lowest number of coronavirus cases in New Jersey. Together with the latter ones, Warren County’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
Please note, even if your region has a low number of coronavirus cases, the virus is still active. Please remain vigilant and keep up with good hygiene practices.
