Since the first COVID-19 case was confirmed in the U.S., the infection has hit all 50 states. However, some regions have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 13 people per mi2 (5 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall number of coronavirus cases has risen up to 17 today, Blaine County still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Oklahoma.

Tulsa County and Oklahoma County are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 4,1K and 3,6K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Ellis County and Cimarron County have the lowest number of confirmed cases in Oklahoma. Together with the latter ones, Blaine County’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your region has a low number of coronavirus cases, the virus is still active. Please stay vigilant and keep up with good hygiene practices.
