Since the first COVID-19 positive person was confirmed in the U.S., the disease has hit all 50 states. However, some regions have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 5 people per mi2 (2 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall number of coronavirus patients has risen up to 759 today, Harmon County still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma County and Tulsa County are the state's leaders in coronavirus patients with 234K and 202K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Cimarron County and Harper County have the lowest count of coronavirus patients in Oklahoma. Together with the latter ones, Harmon County’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your county has a low number of COVID-19 positive people, the virus is still active. Please stay vigilant and continue with good hygiene practices.
