The number of confirmed cases of the new virus continues to grow in the the U.S. COVID-19 keeps all people on alert in Cairo and today, the invisible enemy still spreads across Randolph County. Its population density is informed to be 52 people per mi2 (20 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average.

St. Louis County and Jackson County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These rates don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our key thing is to stay home and take care of ourselves. You should not forget about protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
