Since the first coronavirus case was confirmed in the U.S., the outbreak has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 65 people per mi2 (25 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall number of COVID-19 positive people has reached 3,3K today, Greene County still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Pennsylvania.

Philadelphia County and Allegheny County are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 154K and 102K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Cameron County and Sullivan County have the lowest number of confirmed cases in Pennsylvania. Together with the latter ones, Greene County’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your area has a low number of COVID-19 cases, the virus is still active. Please stay vigilant and continue with good hygiene practices.
